My name is Douglas Puls and I am
finishing my 3rd year as Hope's principal. I teach religion for grades
3 and 4.
Hope Christian School has been a blessing to my family
and me. When I accepted God's call here three year's ago,
I knew that I was prepared to give all I had into providing
the best education possible for our students. The faculty
has been very supportive and works well together. The
students have been a pleasure to teach and I enjoy
watching, as they appear to grow right before your
eyes! The volunteers here at Hope Lutheran Church and
Christian School love their Lord and love this place. Their
countless hours of dedicated service are very inspiring
to my family and me.
This
year (2008) marks my twenty-first year in Lutheran Education. I
have taught at a Lutheran School on Long Island and in
a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. I earned my Bachelor of Arts
degree in Elementary Education and a Lutheran Teacher's
Diploma from Concordia College in Bronxville, NY. I earned
my Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration
from Concordia University Wisconsin. I enjoy taking
day trips with my family, collecting sports memorabilia
and ceramic items stamped “Made in Occupied Japan.” I
am also a big sports fan. |
