Hope Lutheran School and Preschool is seeking dependable, professional, caring, and self-motivated staff to join our team.
Candidates need to be able to work well with other staff implementing weekly lesson plans, maintaining safety of the children, and keeping the confidentiality of the families.
The candidates must be able to work between 32 and 40 hours each week and meet the following requirements:
- A CDA, AA or BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development or working to obtain a degree in one of these areas. A candidiate with a high school diploma and two years experience in child care could be considered for the preschool opportunity.
- Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
- Current health assessment with TB screening
- Willingnesss to commit to a minimum of 12 hours of training annually in addition to monthly staff meetings. These meetings and training may take place outside normal work hours.
Candidates must have experience with children in an educational setting. The threat of COVID-19 has limited the number of substitutes available. There is a greater need for substitutes at all levels, from infant through grade 8. Licensing and credential requirements vary by position.
