Part of a toddler's experience is a time when they begin participating in activities for longer periods of time such as listening to stories, singing songs, playing games and doing creative art projects. Children at Hope are encouraged, but not forced, to participate in group activities and circle time.
Children will learn to follow a daily routine and regulated toilet habits. They will work on both fine and gross skills, and begin to recognize that others have feelings. By the end of the year, the children should be able to sit for a short activity, recognize their name, form phrases, short sentences & play nicely with others.
